Congratulations on #42. The bed and breakfast looks wonderful. Could you imagine buying that "fixer-upper?" I'm absolutely amazed by the amount of chateaus you've seen. I guess I'm struck by how extraordinarily wealthy these people were to build such buildings. Yet, there was such great poverty right outside the doors. Hope your new area is keeping you busy, busy.
One late afternoon, we wandered through the green woods of Piolant. Not a park or town, but a place.
